THE PITMAN BAR - ONE BAR, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
•Posted on December 13 2021
KEY FEATURES
Cerakote Shaft: Ceramic composite coatings enhance the bars resistance to corrosion and scratch resistance while offering a matte finish that looks athletically pleasing.
205,000 Tensile Strength: Research has suggested that a tensile strength between 190k – 220k is optimal. Therefore, the Pitman Bar offers good whip for Olympic lifts but enough stiffness for powerlifting.
8 Needle Bearings + Composite Bushings: Equipped with quality needle bearings and composite bushings the Pitman Bar will give the versatility for every lift.
THE PITMAN BAR – CERAKOTE / BLACK ZINC
THE PITMAN BAR – CERAKOTE / HARD CHROME
Please Note – If you are using The Pitman Bar for commercial purposes, we recommend the Cerakote / Hard Chrome option because the sleeves will look pristine for longer. Black Zinc will eventually scratch especially when used with Cast Iron Weight Plates.
OXIDATION RATE
Oxidation of a barbell or dumbbell depends on the type of steel and the coating finish used. Properties on the lower end of the scale will require more maintenance to preserve their appearance and longevity compared to those at the upper end of the spectrum.
